How this site handles your data, in plain words.
Hi there! I'm Calvin, and I care about your privacy. This page explains how I handle any information you might share with me while visiting my portfolio website.
I don't collect any personal data unless you decide to reach out through the contact form. If you do, you share your name, your email address and your message so I can get back to you. That information is delivered to my email inbox and isn't stored anywhere else.
This site doesn't set cookies and doesn't use local storage. The language you read is simply part of the address (for example /fr or /ko), so there is nothing to remember on your device.
I use Cloudflare for DNS and Vercel for hosting. Both provide me with basic, anonymised statistics such as how many people visit the site and from which country. This data doesn't include anything personal about you.
You won't find any ads here, and I don't use tracking tools like Google Analytics. This site is about showcasing my work, not tracking you.
Project pages can embed YouTube videos. They are loaded in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com) and only after you press play; until then only a thumbnail image is requested from YouTube.
The contact form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile to block spam, and messages are delivered by Web3Forms to my inbox. Your name, email and message are only used to answer you.
I don't share your information with anyone. If you contact me, your name and email will only be used to respond to your message.
The site is served over HTTPS only, which encrypts everything between your browser and the server so that your information is safe in transit.
If you've contacted me and want me to delete your email or any other information you've shared, just let me know and I'll take care of it.
I may update this privacy policy from time to time. When I do, the date at the top of this page changes.
